Our Process

Sourcing Coconut Husk

Usually, coconut husk is separated from the coconut in the coconut processing facilities. These coconut husks are available for further processing in our industry. We have developed a reliable supplier network to source high-quality coconut husks, ensuring they meet the standards for optimal processing.

Coconut husks are processed in two main ways in our industry;

  1. To extract cocopeat and fibre
  2. To produce huck chips

Cocopeat and fibre extraction – Defibering Process

This is a mechanized process where the coconut husks is processed to extract the fibers and cocopeat efficiently. The machined is designed to segregate coco fibre and cocopeat as the output. Cocopeat and coco fibre will be further processed as two mainstream products.

Cocopeat :

After the defibre process, the cocopeat is subjected to thorough washing to remove impurities, followed by a meticulous drying process to achieve the desired moisture content.

Unwanted elements are meticulously removed, and the cocopeat is sized to meet the specific requirements, ensuring a consistent and high quality end product.

The processed cocopeat is carefully stored in controlled environments, maintaining its quality and preserving its beneficial properties.

Coco Fiber :

After the defibre process, the extracted fibers undergo a drying process, ensuring they attain the required quality and consistency.

Similar to cocopeat, the fiber is meticulously processed to eliminate unwanted components, and sizing is done to meet precise specifications.

The redefined coconut fibers are stored in optimal conditions to preserve their strength and quality for various applications.

Husk Chips Production :

Husk chips are produced by cutting the coconut husk. There are standard sizing based on the specification of the final products for which they are used for.

The husk chips undergo a thorough washing process to eliminate impurities, followed by careful drying to achieve the desired moisture content. Unwanted elements are diligently removed from the husk chips, and sizing is performed to meet specific requirements.

The processed husk chips find their place in storage, ready for use in various applications.
